Each year, Muddy Boots Sleepovers works with hundreds of families to create perfect luxury children’s sleepovers throughout the UK.
It’s easy to become dazzled by the magical decorations and happy kids smiling ear to ear but a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to bring our sleepover parties to life while meeting the high expectations that parents have come to expect of Muddy Boots Sleepovers.
To give you the insider scoop, we spoke to three of our Muddy Boots Sleepovers’ party creators to see what motivated them to join our franchise team and why they are so passionate about our teepee sleepover parties.
First up, we have Eriona – you may have seen her zipping around London in our Muddy Boots Sleepovers van. Not only is Eriona the youngest member on our team, but she also considers herself to be the craziest (we may have to agree!).
I work administration and parties over the weekend in South West and Central London, not to mention as a Spa Host! My other role is allocated DJ in the van – CJ and Becky take the wheel while I take the stereo. I’m one of 7 girls in my family, and my youngest sister Reina, who’s 8, loves the ‘I believe in Unicorns’ theme.
I love working with Muddy Boots Sleepovers because it’s a lovely way to unwind from my current nursing degree studies.
Kelly is our children’s party planner in Hertfordshire who joined our team back in September. She brings her background in fashion and interiors to each and every Muddy Boots sleepover to create fun and beautifully styled parties.
I have loved taking on my new role as the party planner for Muddy Boots Sleepovers in Hertfordshire. I have embraced my creative flair in order to design the best-looking parties for our customers. The reactions and love from customers to what we create make it truly worthwhile.
You can generally find me working out, shopping in Sainsbury’s, taking my kids to the park or in deep concentration on Pinterest.
Monday to Friday, Becky is the marketing brain behind Muddy Boots Sleepovers and a party creator Saturday to Sunday. She joined the team back in October of last year, managing parties in Bristol but decided to make the move back to the big city where she works closely with CJ on planning the next ‘big thing’.
The concept behind Muddy Boots is really incredible. Although we offer multiple themes, each party is so unique and different as you’re always working with a new space.
My background is interior design and architecture, so being able to style a party is the absolute dream. Even more so, seeing the client’s face light up once the party is setup.
Last up, we have the wonderful Dee who is our children’s party planner in North London. Dee helped us to launch our ‘A Whole New World’ and ‘Harry Potter’ themes, which are exclusive to her area.
I’m the magical party creator for North London covering Gerrard’s Cross, Northwood, Watford, Harrow, Stanmore…and everything in between! Having only been involved with Muddy Boots Sleepovers for a short period of time, I absolutely love what I do.
Muddy Boots is not only about putting a smile on your prince or princess’s face, it’s also about taking the whole hassle out of organising a party.
As a mother of 2, I have held many parties for my kids but love that Muddy Boots come into a blank space and then leave having created the most magical setting for a sleepover…and the best bit, we come back the next day and take it all down!
I’ve always been creative and have loved creating new themes with CJ such as A Whole New World and Harry Potter which are exclusive to my territory.
Every party is different, and every client is different, and I love working with my clients to ensure that our parties meet their every requirement.
It always puts a smile on my face when the children see the finished look. There’s nothing more rewarding than making it “the best sleepover ever!”.
Next up is Amelia who is our party creator in Bristol. She loves our themes so much that she decorated her baby boy’s nursery based on Muddy Boots Sleepovers’ Into the wild and Tropical themes.
My role is to create different themed parties in Bristol over the weekends. At some parties I get to be a spa host which has to be my favourite!
I love working for Muddy Boots Sleepovers because it allows me to explore my creative vision and put together dream parties that put the biggest smiles on kids’ faces and I don’t get to do in my 9-5 boring office job.
Melissa is our party creator for the Barnet and Essex region and does an amazing job at styling beautiful sleepovers for all of her clients.
I think Muddy Boots Sleepovers is a very special business that I am grateful to be a part of. I enjoy putting smiles on our clients faces and seeing their reaction when I turn the fairy lights on and they see the magic created in their very own home.
Another area I love of this business is having the freedom to create. CJ is a big fan of this and always pushes me in different way to get creative as possible.
Last year I put together the Rose Gold Dreams theme which is one of our popular themes across the business. The blush pinks and floral designs in this theme are cute and popular with the older teepee partiers!
