Aya and her friends were in need of sunshine and a bright colour injection to brighten up the dreary winter weather.
Muddy Boots came to the rescue with the perfect tropical treat to cheer them up just in time for the birthday celebrations.
For this party we combined our Tropical themed sleepover with our Spa add-on and a photo shoot to really mark the occasion for Aya. As it was her 10th birthday party, her parents were really keen to ensure the sleepover was fit for girls who were a little bit older, so the addition of the spa package was the perfect way of creating this.
Aya had invited 16 of her closest friends to help her celebrate, so we arrived and began set up in plenty of time to ensure the Luau was ready to begin when the guests arrived. All 16 Teepees were dressed to impress with matching bed linen and cushion so the girls could all get super comfy by bedtime. Each had an accompanying breakfast tray and night light lantern to flicker away with sparkly fairy lights, and goody bags full of gifts and treats to surprise each attendee. We wanted lots of bright colours to cheer the girls up after a cold winter and what better way than to get totally tropical with all our balloons and decorations?! From palm leaves to princess flamingos, the room was so inviting when the girls arrived that we wanted to join in to!
Aya’s lovely family had decided they wanted to capture all the wonderful moments of the sleepover and had booked the extra Muddy Boots photo shoot package. This meant we could create a whole catalogue of pictures for Aya and her friends to cherish and keep as their memories of the sleepover. It also meant we were able to get some lovely shots of our Tropical Treat party to share with you guys. Doesn’t it look fun?!When it comes to sleepovers for the slightly older girls, our Spa package is always very popular and Aya’s parents were keen to incorporate it. So that evening we set about all the pampering these little ladies could dream of. From face masks and cucumber eye patches, the girls were giggling away, enjoying the ‘big girls’ activities and of course, they all looked fabulous while doing it!
After all the pampering, it was time for the PJ party and Aya’s Mum had arranged for all the girls to have matching personalised pyjamas for the occasion – which was absolutely delightful. As the girls danced and sang, all while getting in their sleepover spirit, Aya was every bit the tropical birthday girl throwing the sleepover of dreams.
As bed time approached the girls snuggled down in their tropical teepees, dreaming of faraway beaches and real-life Luau’s. All while Felicity the Flamingo watched over them, bobbing gently away while they snoozed.Throwing a sleepover for larger numbers can be daunting which is why we were thrilled to have been involved. Aya and 16 of her friends had the most grown up tropical sleepover with their extra spa treatments and goody bags, and no-one wanted it to end.Another huge Muddy Boots sleepover success.
