When we received the request to throw a sleepover and spa party for a 12-year old girl that was inspired by the sleepover party in the gossip girl tv series, we jumped at the chance! We had so much fun planning and putting together this special event, from finding the perfect venue to styling all of the details. Keep reading to learn more about this unique project.
The most important thing was to capture the look and feel of the Gossip Girl sleepover party to create an atmosphere that was both youthful and sophisticated.
The Balloon Garland
We created a mix of purple, pink and gold balloons to match the theme which framed the area perfectly for their evening movie marathon. To make it extra special, we added florals in the balloons as well. It truly was eye-catching and added so much to the atmosphere of their special day!
The Spa Area
We decorated the clothes rail with silk spa robes on hangers along with matching balloons and florals throughout. In addition, we provided all the necessary products to give them the full spa experience – cleanser, face masks, moisturizer – plus instructions so they could take care of themselves while having fun! To top off their spa day even further, our Muddy Boots team stayed onsite to give each of them mini manicures and pedicures.
